José Andrés Herrera Corredor, PhD, Colegio de Postgraduados, Mexico

José Andrés Herrera Corredor holds a Ph.D. in Food Science from Louisiana State University (2007), an M.S. in Applied Computing from the Colegio de Postgraduados (2001), and a degree in Agroindustrial Engineering from Universidad Autónoma Chapingo (1995). A Level II member of the National System of Researchers (SNII), he has published over 61 scientific articles in JCR-indexed journals and is a founding member of the Latin American Amaranth Network and the Campus Córdoba of the Colegio de Postgraduados.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated leadership in academic innovation, serving as the Coordinator of the Ph.D. program in Sustainable Agro-Food Innovation (2019-2023) and leading the integration of graduate programs into the CONACYT Sistema Nacional de Postgrados (SNP). His professional influence extends to the private sector and international organizations, including memberships in the Society of Sensory Professionals and the Mexican Association of Sensory and Consumer Sciences (2026). Furthermore, he is an active consultant and speaker across all academic levels and the food industry, balancing his research with technological development through INDAUTOR-registered software.
